Your site will benefit from having a sitemap

Sitemaps are an afterthought for many webmasters. But if you want to make sure that Google and other search engines can find all of the pages on your site, a sitemap is an absolute must.

Using a sitemap doesn't guarantee that all the items in your sitemap will be crawled and indexed, as Google processes rely on complex algorithms to schedule crawling. However, in most cases, your site will benefit from having a sitemap, and you'll never be penalized for having one.

If you have a blog with an RSS or Atom feed, you can submit the feed's URL as a sitemap.
Most blog software is able to create a feed for you, but recognize that this feed only provides information on recent URLs.
